Cake smash sessions are a beautiful way to celebrate your babies birthday and are most popular for first birthdays, although they can also be booked for older children. Each session includes portrait images before the cake, cake smash photographs and a bath splash to finish, all gently guided to ensure safety, comfort, and beautiful images throughout. Depending on the package chosen, a bespoke cake can be included and styled to complement your session, with cakes provided by either Cakes by Nicole in Darvel or Loulou’s Cakes in Shortlees, both of whom create beautifully finished, baby-friendly cakes that photograph perfectly. Your baby’s safety is always my priority, and due to the risk of cross-contamination during storage and handling, I’m unable to provide cakes for dietary or allergy-specific requirements; if your baby has allergies, the cake cost will be removed from your package and you are welcome to bring your own cake from home. For safety and hygiene reasons, parents are required to remain close by during the cake smash and bath portions of the session and may be asked to assist where needed.
